Many of you know that there is no rhyme or reason as to when California decides to update their many required postings. So, dear readers, we wanted to let you know that the Civil Rights Department has updated the California Family Rights Act (CFRA) and Pregnancy Disability Leave poster, as well as the Discrimination and Harassment poster.
In addition, in case you missed it, new mandatory Whistleblower Protection notices were released late last month.
While these notices can be distributed by email under Labor Code section 1207 with the document or documents attached, it does not alter an employer’s obligation to physically display notices in the physical workplace.
